Les Maris, les femmes, les amants / Husbands, Wives, Lovers. 1989.
A group of women send their husbands and children to the island of Ré and stay in Paris to spend the month of August. During this time children try to become adults and their parents find themselves behaving like children. This separation allows the women consider their lives, and succeed at best to be happy while men are happy, like kids, organize a life of band. Behind the visible euphoria, however, the problems arise: Martin (Jean-François Stévenin) would like to comfort his son Clément (Clément Thomas) with his imaginary love deprivation by pushing him into the arms of Annette (Catherine Bidaut), the babysitter of Michel's (Pierre Jean) children. But he himself falls for her charm while Clément is seduced by Jacqueline (Anne Guinou), Georges's wife. Bruno (Guy Marchand) was abandoned by his wife and then let himself be knocked by a nymphomaniac widow. And then there is the little Eléonore (Vanessa Guedj), who is in love with Clément, and she attempts suicide after a quarrel with him.

Učna leta izumitelja Polža / Apprenticeship of the Inventor Polz. 1982.
SI. Učna leta izumitelja Polža je 89-minutni slovenski celovečerni film, ki je bil posnet in premierno predvajan 1. januarja 1982. Režiral je Jane Kavčič, sceniral pa Željko Kozinc. Takoj po snemanju pa je v prometni nesreči umrl glavni igralec, Miha Petrovčič.
Osnovnošolec Jani, ki ga prijatelji kličejo Polž, se ukvarja s precej utopičnimi poskusi. Tako med drugim že kot otrok skoči z balkona z uporabo dežnikov kot padala, povzroči eksplozijo televizorja in eksperimentira z elektriko. Skoraj z vsakim neuspelim poskusom doma zakuha kako nesrečo, ki je nadvse komična, saj ga ob vsakem poskusu okara ali celo našeška oče. Njegova najnovejša ideja predvideva pretvorbo nekoristne energije ultrazvočnega valovanja v električno energijo, kar bi zmanjšalo onesnaževanje zaradi uporabe fosilnih goriv.
Ob strani mu stojijo mama, sošolca Hojka in Fitipaldi ter soseda Violeta, glasbeno nadarjena punca, nobenega razumevanja za njegove poskuse pa ne pokažeta oče in učitelj fizike. Kljub temu vztraja s poskusi in se odloči, da gre do konca.
Na koncu naprava za pretvorbo ultrazvoka v električno energijo začne skoraj delovati, vendar nato eksplodira, kar prinese tudi konec eksperimentiranja doma. Film se konča, ko Polžev mlajši brat Luka z dežnikoma odskoči z balkona, kar kaže na to, da bo očitno nekoč sledil bratovim stopinjam.
EN. Jani, called just Polz by his fellows, is a sincere elementary schoolboy. He likes his schoolmate Hojka, but especially drawn to inventiveness. He is suported by his mother, his schoolmate Hojka and Fitipaldi. The rest of them, on the other hand his father, a teacher of physics at the top of list, show no recognition of his efforts whatsoever. When seeminghly on the verge of his first success, his device explodes and thus concludes his life of home expirimentation. Polz remains a kind of rebel and fanatic in the eyes of adults, but his younger brother is already promising to follow in his footsteps.

Vợ Ba / The Third Wife. 2018.
The Third Wife (Vietnamese: Vợ ba) is a 2018 Vietnamese costume drama film written and directed by Ash Mayfair, in her feature debut. Set in the 19th century, it follows a 14-year-old girl who becomes the third wife to a landowner in rural northern Vietnam.
The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2018, where it won the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) Award. It also won the TVE-Another Look Award at the San Sebastian International Film Festival and the Gold Hugo for New Directors at the Chicago International Film Festival in October 2018.
In 2020 Mayfair released a re-worked version of the film called Between Shadow and Soul. The re-worked film used the same footage from the original shoot but reconfigured in black and white and with no dialogue and a new soundtrack
In 19th century rural Vietnam, fourteen-year-old May is ready to become the third wife of a wealthy landowner. Little does she know that her hidden desires will take her by surprise and force her to make a choice between living in safety and being free.

Memoirs of a Survivor is a 1981 British science fiction film directed by David Gladwell, with some scenes filmed at the location of Argyle Street, Norwich. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1981 Cannes Film Festival. It is based on the 1974 novel of the same name by Doris Lessing.
'D' is a chronicler of a society in chaos, who looks down on the marauding gangs, and rubbish-strewn streets from the fortress prison of her flat. Buffeted by inner dreams and longings, D finds an alternative world by stepping through the wall of her flat, like Alice through the Looking Glass. Here it is Victorian England, the bosom of an unsettled family, harbingers, perhaps, of the decay to come. She flits between the two sides of her double life, always observing, never participating, and watches as her protégé, Emily, becomes involved with vagrants' leader Gerald and their efforts to control the violent scavengers fail.

 The Ballad of the Windshield Washers (Italian: La ballata dei lavavetri) is a 1998 Italian drama film directed by Peter Del Monte. It is based on a novel by Edoardo Albinati. It was screened out of competition at the 59th Venice International Film Festival.
 Peter Del Monte directed this Italian drama about Polish immigrants in Rome, adapted from E. Albinati's novel, The Polish Car Window Cleaner. When Janusz arrives in Rome with his family, they seek employment while awaiting visas to travel on to Canada. The men in the family clean windshields of vehicles stuck in Rome's massive traffic jams. Attractive daughter Justyna, who takes care of an ill child, has a run-in with rapists. Janusz mysteriously vanishes, and his son Rafal (Kim Rossi Stuart) fears he is dead. Janusz' demented brother Zygmunt begins to wander about the city. Janusz is on the brink of happiness with a beautiful Bulgarian, Irina, when a botched robbery results in his being charged with murder. Shown at the 1998 Venice Film Festival.

L'école est finie. 1979.
Julien Villebois (Bertrand Waintrop) a 15 ans, ses doigts sont tachés d'encre et il porte un gros cartable sur le dos. Il vit entre le Lycée et, justement, l'atelier de sculpture d'Erick, son cousin, avec son charme désuet, ses statues inachevées et ses baies ouvrant sur un jardin en friche. Entre les deux décors, la maison, et sa mère qui ne font parties d'aucun des deux mondes. Nathalie Thuillier (Corinne Dacla), elle, a seize ans et travaille, seule, par correspondance. Pour Nathalie les études s'achèvent déjà. Elle vit avec sa mère qui tient un petit commerce et avec son grand-père. Elle aussi connait l'atelier d'Erick, lequel se transforme parfois en professeur de piano pour gagner sa vie. C'est donc là que Nathalie et Julien se rencontreront, se découvriront et s'aimeront. Ils vivront quelques instants d'un automne qui leur paraitra éternel. Et, pour aller jusqu'au bout de sa tendresse, le très jeune couple décide d'avoir un enfant.
